Only in the Arms of Love

It's not often that I recognize the miracles in my life but this pictures captures one shining example. It represents the mischif little Miss Brielle is capable of. It was taken while Bob and I were on our little Spring Break Adventure with Kira and Sadie.

The mircle I am referring to is embodied in the form of an amazing "adopted" grandma. She emulates a special kind of love, the selfless kind that knows no bounds, a born nurturer with amazing patience and an increadible ability to laugh, even when it's not funny.

I look up to her, she is an inspiration to me. I only hope to learn to love my kids the way she does. Her service to our family is a treasured gift.

Thank you Grandma Ruth, you are a True Queen.

Thanks for your kind words which I don't deserve...and thank you for sharing Brielle with me for these few days. She is a delightful child and we had a lot of fun.

In explanation of this cute face smeared with peanut butter...I was amazed to turn around from getting something in the cabinet to find she had opened her sandwich, smeared it all over her face and was quite proud of the mess.

I took a photo and showed her what it looked like. I thought she would be a little shocked to see what she had done, but she was delighted with the result.

Oh my goodness! I want to just eat her up for dinner. That picture is so perfectly Brielle!

Good friends who become our family are gifts from God. That means you too, my sister! *smile*

She looks kinda like Bob in this one don't she? Especially with that 5 o'clock shadow.
