My girls love their dad, & I'm talking the kind of love that fosters total loyalty and devotion. If you asked them why, the list would stretch on indefinitely.Here are a few responses:
He is funny, and silly, and very nice.
He laughs when we are naughty and says "that's what kids do".
He never spanks, yells, and 'mostly never says NO.
He takes us to the Zoo, RedRobin, and Carl's Jr. Playland.
He gives pony rides, and piggy rides, and 4wheeler rides too.
He builds forts, plays games, and tells the best stories.
He lays on the floor in our room when we're not tired.
He lets us watch lots of movies, even in the car going to church.
He makes great breakfast like cheese pretzels and chocolate milk.
He let us pick our own clothes, and buys shoes that light up.
Every night is a "date night".
He loves ice cream and always shares.
He doesn't use a brush when he does our hair.

That my dear is why it works best with a mom and a dad...it balances out life and makes for great kids and sane parents.
Fun post! That Bob is a fabulous dad all right. Now he needs to do a post on what a fabulous mom you are.

We love you all for trying to be the best you can be. Remember the only instruction we are given is the lessons we learn each day of our life & some of them are hard and difficult and other bring us a lot of pleasure. Enjoy the ride
Another reason why I admire Bob. I think I'd like to start my life over, from the beginning.
I remember when we were little and the rare occasions that Uncle Bob would come to town were always the best! I remember him taking us swimming once and thinking that he was the going to be the best Dad ever!
Ahhhh! That was cute. Now I want a list off the wonderful things their mom does. You have some BEAUTIFUL females in that house, he is the lucky one (I am sure he would agree.)
Girls have such a special connection with their daddies! Bob is an amazing guy and you two are great parents! I miss you! :)
You both compliment each other so well. And bring sanity to each other when you've both had difficult days at work.
