As we prepared for the evening however, they acted more like Anastasia and Drasilla, fighting over dresses, sashes, beads and crowns.
At one point Sadie suggested that I be the Mean-Stepmother, a comment she lived to regret as she endured her 30 minute up-do.
Alas after two painstaking hours the effort paid off and they magically transformed into Cinderellas in both attitude and appearance.
How I envy the guiltless consumption of vast quantities of carbohydrates and saturated fats.

Look at those two dahlings all dolled up for the ball. Nice job on the do's, lady! I couldn't have done them better myself. :-)
Oh they look so cute! My girl just wanted to be a ghost!!! Nothing cute and frilly as I expected. Looks like they had a great time. Where was Brielle's costume?
WOW is all I have to say. The patience you have with little girl hairstyles...does that come naturally or should I be terrified if I have a girl??
Man, I know where to go when my next ball comes up. Their hair is adorable! Sheesh! You have the patience of a saint. I remember doing Trina's hair when she was little. Then I thought I might be doing some damage with how many times I bonked her with the brush and pulled her head around by her hair. I quit! You go girl!
Your girls look adorable!! It was worth all the effort (although you might not have been thinking that at the time of creating their updo's). And yes, how wonderful it would be to eat yummy food without counting calories!
