Kodiak

After 10 years of waiting to draw out and long cold week of sleeping bags, canned chili, and miles of hiking, Bob's patience finally paid off as he brought home an 8 foot Kodiak Island Brown (Grizzly) Bear.

While the debate regarding what to do with such a trophy continues, we are unanimous in our joy at being safely reunited.

The girls and I desperately missed our brave hunter.

I don't ever remember seeing a bear while I was serving in Kodiak....
but that's massive! you should have it stuffed and placed by your front door to greet visitors!

Here in chicago...the only bears we have is the football team that can't seem to win....but who knows...

WOW!! Please tell me this hunt took place miles and miles and miles away from your house ~ You don't see bears like that all the time, do you??
That's awesome that Bob had that experience. I just hope he doesn't want to make you a fur coat out of it :)

HOLY SMOKES! You are a good wife. What exactly will you let him do with it? Michael and I have different ideas about what to do with Lucky, our black bear.
