This is what have I gained from my pain:
difficulty walking, let alone running.
hip discomfort due to an altered step pattern.
new blister formation on the opposing foot.
incurred expense for mole skin, second skin, blister bandages, synthetic sox, special insoles, & new shoes.
worst of all, an inability to wear heels.
How long does it take to form a nice callous? The kind that professional pedicurist spend hours trying to shave off?

Ahhh..... just another confirmation as to why I don't try running marathons. Are you CRAZY???!! But keep up the good work!
